Pump casing, impeller

With the repeated modifications in the design nby means of CAD know-how and referring the latest hydraulic model, a best match between both pump casing and impeller is made to get a widest flow-path and a best performance for sewage to pass through. The impeller has been strictly balanced so as to reduce vibration to the minimum and extend the duration of both bearing and mechanical seal to the utmost extent.

Motor

A specially designed and made submersible motor, the stator winding of it is F-grade dielectric and the limit working temperature of the dielectric material is 145. An overheat protective component is set inside of the winding to protect the motor via the electric control cabinet.

Cooling of motor

Inside of the pump there is an automatic cooling system, when the motor's power gets to over 18.5KW, a small portion of the liquid pressed out by the impeller flows into around the stator room for cooling, capable of ensuring the normal cooling of the motor when the water pump works at the lowest water level.

Mechanical seal

Use the mechanical seal made in Bogeman, Shanghai, a wearable friction secondary material of a very low frictional coefficient, an oil-proof NBR as the rubber part and stainless steel metal parts. Non-failure running can be up to over 8000h with the normal conditions of use.

Oil room

The engine oil inside of the oil room can lubricate the mechanical seal and also take the heat of the bearing away, as well as resist liquid penetration, an additional safety function. The water-leak probe placed inside of the oil room, when the water leaking from the mechanical seal on the pump side to the oil room gets to a certain concentration, will alarm and stop the pump via the electric control cabinet to remind of the operator to change the oil or repair the mechanical seal.

Bearing

The bearing on the upper side is a deep-ditch ball bearing and used to bear the radial action force while the one on the lower side to bear both radial and axial forces. Use of the angle contacted ball bearing can fully meet with the effect to eliminate the axial force. The bearing are quality ones imported or of a domestic famous brand and so unable to get damaged during the applicable period of the pump.

Cable, sealing of motor

The cable is a sewage-proof heavy rubber-sleeve soft cable and of an excellent mechanical strength and oil-sewage resistance. The sectional area and the current loading capacity of it aim at 40  ambient temperature (not the usual 25). With the condition of long-term continual work selected, it has an enough margin and a longer duration under the normal conditions. The cable gland tightly presses the seal ring of it to make a reliable seal realized between the cable and the wiring cavity. The cable is fixed to prevent it from pull-off and fitted with color mark plus digital mark to have it more easily identified and connected. Grounding marks and fasteners are set inside of both wiring cavity of the motor and electric control cabinet to have the cable strictly grounded, safe and reliable. During assembly, a strict sealing detecting test is carried out for the O-ring, cable seal and mechanical seal of each pump so as to ensure the motor cavity, including the wiring cavity, to get reliably sealed.

Protector

The motor winding overheat protective component and the water-leak probe are not available with the pump of 7.5Kw and below; and available with the one of IlKW and above, plus the float switch. The protector will not be functional unless being connected to the electric control cabinet special for the submersible sewage pump. Though it is optional, choose the said cabinet made in this Co. is intelligent for the sake of your pump to safely and reliably run, especially of the motor to be avoidable to burning-out. Please contact with the special group of electric control cabinet of this Co. for the related electric technical problems, especially those related to the protectors, if users equip the electric control cabinet themselves.

About the protectors

Overheat protective component

The component motion is controlled by temperature and inlaid in the stator winding of the motor and, when the winding temperature gets to the set value of it under an abnormal running condition, makes, via the electric control cabinet, the OVRHEAT indicator lit and the motor automatically stop, thus telling the operator to check and find out the cause for the overheat of the motor. When the winding temperature lowers, the motor can reset to the state able to start.

Water-leak probe

Used for water leak detection. The two electric poles on one end of it are mutually insulated and distanced and the lead-outs of them are connected to the electric control cabinet via cables. The said poles, when the water leaking from the mechanical seal on the motor side to the oil room gets to a certain level or a little of water gets int9 the wiring cavity of the motor, will be mutually conducted and, via the electric control cabinet, send out the alarm signal (the indicator lights) and automatically cut off the motor's power to tell the operator to check the mechanical seal or replace the oil in the oil room on time, and, when water gets into the motor's wiring cavity, will alarm and stop the pump to prevent short-circuit from producing and tell the operator to take the measures for check and repair at once.

Float switch

Used to check if the mechanical seal on the motor side is out of work and if any water gets into the motor cavity. It is mounted on the empty cavity on the lower side of the motor cavity and by the bearing, with a hole connected through to the bearing. The float of the switch will float when the mechanical seal is out of work, the oil or water in the oil room or the water going into the motor cavity gets into the empty cavity via the bearing to send out an alarm signal (the indicator lights), via the said cabinet, and make the pump automatically stop running to tell the operator to overhaul the pump.
